This cartridge’s Starfire projectile means business. It’s not bonded, or match grade, or polymer tipped, or any other oh-so-fancy thing. It’s just an extremely high-quality jacketed hollow point, which has the wide nose cavity, notched jacket rim, lead core and brass exterior it needs to undergo reliable terminal expansion. The Starfire is also very durable, and can easily retain over 99% of its weight while plowing through heavy clothing and dense body mass.

PMC engineers are aware that some semi-autos trip up while feeding JHP bullets. That’s why they adorned the Starfire with a special, smooth-feeding ogive.
